Florida Land Surveyor’s Council 

Number of Continuing Education Hours Required for license renewal:

• 24 credit hours every 2 years.

Annual Council Dues:

• Current Council Members: Online registration, pay same dues as 2004-2005 or $225.00, whichever is less (for Phone, FAX or Mail registration, add $50.00 service fee). NOTE -- Registrations received after December 15, 2005 pay new member fee. 

• New Members: $225.00 Online or $275.00 by Phone, FAX or Mail.

Next State License/Registration Renewal Date:

• February 28, 2009

Special courses required:

• Minimum Technical Standards – 6 credit hours every other year. This course is included at no charge for current Florida Council members and may be purchased by other current state Council members for $50.00.

• State Laws that apply to surveying – 6 credit hours every other year. This course is included at no charge for current Florida Council members and may be purchased by other current state Council members for $50.00.

Through an agreement with LSS Seminars & Publishing Company the correspondence courses below are provided for our current members to complete and use for their current land surveyor license renewal requirements. Each passed course provides six (6) hours of continuing education/professional development credit. All files are in Adobe Acrobat "pdf" format. Please make sure that the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader is loaded and installed on your computer before attempting to load these Courses.
